Beautiful campground, beautiful lake. Nice showers & clean bathrooms. Hiking trails right from camp!
Typical campgrounds in the Adirondacks. The site we had wasn't the best. It was really damp, and on our second morning the septic system overflowed which forced us to tear camp down very quickly. Fortunately, the staff was apologetic and assisted in getting us onto another site. Once we got onto the other site our experience started changing. However, the smell of sewage is hard to rate above 2 stars.
Love this campground and the lake. Only suggestion is to fix the 2 showers that were broken all summer in the women's bathroom. Or hopefully remodel the bath houses like the ones at the Lake Durant campground.

Great campsite. Small but still fun. Beach is kind of small but still usable. Not very crowded from day-use people and if you can get a site on the water, you won't have a bad trip! Bear/food rules are typical for that area.
