Nice campsites. Beautiful hike. Loons
The only bad part is the insect attacks other than that it's an easy beautiful slice of adks ...oh a the loons wow I see em every time
Great to walk round the lakes in this area. It's really beautiful at all times of the year.

I love this area! So peaceful and beautiful. Great place to get away from it all. Also no cell service last time I was there but it is spotty in some areas.
Also, there are so many mosquitoes! (However we have had the most rain this year since Noah!) But if you bring enough repellents you should be fine.
They make any car access virtually impossible, so it makes camping limited, unless you're willing to leave your car next to the road and hike several miles to a lake carrying all your stuff.
There is endless well kept trails that run throughout. Extremely beautiful, and very easy to find seclusion and privacy. Lots of lakes with awesome camping.
