Food was good. Wait staff was rude. We walked in for lunch, we were asked if we'd like to be in the dining room or on the deck. We chose the deck. We got to the deck and the children decided it was a bit too cold. We turned around and came back in to sit in the dining room. Keep in mind, we did not even sit on the deck. Just walked out and turned around. We got back to the dining room and told the exact same woman our decision. She replied with "the dining room is closed". What? We we're just here. "Yeah, well it's after two now" "You'll have to eat in the bar" Are you kidding me? It had been thirty seconds? We ate in the bar room. Which quickly filled. I'm assuming three small barroom tables are not enough on a busy Saturday afternoon. As we watched people come in to the bar, look for seating, and decide to leave I couldn't help but notice the six or so waitresses standing around in the "closed" dining area. Not working, just talking and hanging out. Doing a bit if busy work. Filling salt shakers and the such. To me, this seems like it may be bad business. The worst part is, the bar menu is just that, a bar menu. A full staff in the kitchen, a full staff in the dining room, customers being turned away from a wonderful menu and a choice of burgers with a few drunk's lingering. Great place for the family.
Overall a great experience. The food was great and the waitstaff was friendly. The wait time for our food was a little long, but worth it. Would definitely stop again if I am in the area.
Friendly local crowd and travelers. Beautiful place to end the day with an almost always picture perfect sunset over reflective water on the outside deck! Plenty of inside seating in both restaurant & bar area. Food is awesome!
We LOVE this place!!! Staff is great, and food is amazing! So glad to have found this hidden gem.
Beautiful view from the deck. Nothing spectacular, as far as food goes. Service was subpar. Ordered wings for the table (6 of us). Basket of wings delivered with ranch was delivered. No napkins. No extra plates. Asked for napkins 2 times. Finally had 3 given to us. 3 for the table. Dinner (bar food and sandwiches) was brought out. No napkins. We found our own. Had to track down the server for our bill. This is similar to our experience on pur last visit. Probably won't return.
Revisit -- couldn't not stop to have a tall cool one .. food is as always awesome.
